IT professionals can use Securelinx to monitor, manage and troubleshoot nearly anything in the datacenter rack, from anywhere, at any time - even when servers or networks are down. This means faster response rates and less downtime. With a common easy-to-use GUI interface, SecureLinx products provide secure administration and management of servers, routers, switches and telecom equipment – from BIOS settings to Enterprise software – all from a single location. SecureLinx SLK provides all the features of an IP KVM switch plus additional features for managing and connecting to the unit. The SLK16 offers independent access for up to six people via IP with any browser that supports Java or with a VNC client. Integrated serial ports can be used for connection to serial consoles, remote control via modem, or to control AC power to equipment via the SLP Remote Power Manager. No specialized software is needed to access the SLK, which can support up to 16 servers and is manageable via SNMP. Anytime, Anywhere Solution SecureLinx SLK gives you the power to remotely perform many functions that would normally require you to enter the server room, such as reconfiguring hardware and configuring the BIOS. By having full access to your server's primary I/O (keyboard, video, mouse), SecureLinx SLK provides you with the capability to administer your devices and take action to correct problems from anywhere via IP. Integrated Security Security is a top priority for IT managers. SecureLinx SLK is protected with multiple users/passwords and employs 128-bit SSL encryption to encrypt all keyboard and mouse signals. In addition, SecureLinx SLK offers specialized security features such as 'Stealth mode' to minimize detection by port scans and 'Turtle mode' to disable remote access when multiple bad logins are detected, and is compatible with SSH and VPN environments. Also, with full remote access capability to your equipment, you can reduce personnel traffic to your server room, keeping your data room door closed and more secure. Easy to Deploy and Use With no software to install, SecureLinx SLK does not impact server performance and seamlessly supports multiple operating systems. Setup can be done locally using the On Screen Display (OSD) or remotely via a Web browser. Since SecureLinx SLK does not require any user licenses and provides remote access using standard Web browsers or VNC, it eliminates the need for proprietary software updates and reduces administration costs. |
